The Northwest Aquatic and Marine Educators (NAME) invite educators, researchers, students, and resource professionals from the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia to join us for the 2026 Annual NAME Conference, Sound Science, Shared Learning, taking place this Fall from October 2-4, 2026.
This milestone event marks the 50th annual NAME conference, bringing our community together to meet, learn, share ideas, and build lasting connections.
Conference Location
The conference will be held at the Dumas Bay Center, located along the forested shores of Puget Sound in Federal Way, Washington. The setting offers a meaningful connection to place and an inspiring backdrop for learning and collaboration.
What to Expect
We are trying out a modified conference format this year, but plan to pack in as much fun and learning as we always do! The 2026 NAME Fall Conference, Sound Science, Shared Learning, will feature a dynamic and engaging program, including:
