HOT TOPICS WORKSHOP

Coastal topics are all over the news. Join OIMB faculty and invited speakers to learn about dead zones, wave energy, marine reserves, climate change, and fisheries management and certification issues.

LOGISTICS:

• The workshop will take place in OIMB’s auditorium. The OIMB campus is located in Charleston. Coming from Coos Bay, immediately after crossing the Charleston Bridge, take the first right on Boat Basin Drive. The campus is on the left, across the street from the Pacific Seafood fish packing plant. Parking is available in lots on both sides of Boat Basin Drive, as well as along Boat Basin Drive itself. The auditorium is located at the very end of Boat Basin Drive. There is a limited amount of handicap parking at the auditorium. Others are asked to walk.

• Registration cost of $15 NAME members; non-members add $18 for membership

• Professional Development Units available on request
