Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre is a world-class teaching and research facility located on the outer west coast of Vancouver Island, Canada. The Marine Centre supports diverse coastal and marine research of the highest calibre and is recognized as among the very best research and training facilities in the world.
South Sound Estuary Association (SSEA)
South Sound Estuary Association was founded in 2007 as a result of community interest in establishing an interactive interpretive center, creating opportunities for the public to learn about estuaries, geology, natural and cultural history, marine life, and human impact on the Puget Sound (2nd largest estuary in the U.S.). The new SSEA center is visioned to be located somewhere along Budd Inlet in downtown Olympia, Washington.
Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI)
The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry is a scientific, educational, and cultural resource center dedicated to improving the public's understanding of science and technology. OMSI makes science exciting and relevant through exhibits, programs, and experiences that are presented in an entertaining and participatory fashion.
